It's been quiet on the Ariana Grande front, but fans received a small glimpse of relief when the pop superstar shared a series of videos of her and a number of pets on Instagram. Among the aminals in the mix seemingly included Mac Miller's dog Myron, which has led folks to believe that she is taking after the canine.
Earlier this week, the 25-year-old chart-topper took to the social media platform to share the videos with her 129.8 million followers. In one of the clips, Grande is seen on a couch, hugging up to the dog as he licked her face. "All the kisses. Happy Fall," she captioned the filtered footage. In 2017, Miller adopted the puppy — a pitbull mix from Wylder's Holistic Pet Center through The Wagmor, a pet hotel in Los Angeles. They were still dating at the time.
While it's not entirely concrete that she has permanently taken in Myron, it's worth noting that her mother shouted out the pup as one of the family dogs in a social media post in August.
Just last week, Grande was spotted in dancing in the rain in New York City with friends, marking the first time the pop star has been seen in public since Miller's death on September 7th. He reportedly passed away from an apparent overdose. Stars like Chance The Rapper, Shawn Mendes and Diplo took to social media after the news broke to remember the late rapper, who was only 26-years-old. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Mac was found around noon at his San Fernando Valley home and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities were reportedly alerted by a male friend who called 911 from the star's residence. Miller's cause of death comes after a long struggle with substance abuse, which was reportedly the reason for his breakup with Grande.
