"I miss the old Kanye."
Kanye West may have said he's out of the sunken place, but the Internet couldn't disagree more. On Thursday (September 27), Ye was photographed wearing a Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" hat, while also wearing a Colin Kaepernick sweatshirt. "11am meetings, amirite @thefader @kanyewest," the President and Publisher of The Fader captioned the controversial photo.
Ye's conflicting outfit — Colin and 45 have two very different ideologies and stand on two very different moral grounds — was immediately called out on social media after the photo of the "All Mine" rapper circulated on the web.

Kanye West wearing a MAGA hat and a Colin Kaepernick sweatshirt to the Fader offices to push Yandhi is peak cognitive dissonance and clickbait, but more importantly it’s a 0/10 fit

😭😭Kanye is a walking paradox

And here it is Kanye claimed he was out of the sunken place. MAGA and @Kaepernick7 have totally separate ideologies, with one being suppressive toward POC. He refused to get it and it’s a slap in the face! His music should not excuse this BS, just trade him already! We lost him

As fans know, Ye is currently preparing to release his ninth studio album on Saturday (September 29). The "Lift Yourself" rapper revealed the news on Thursday, while also simultaneously and preemptively admitting defeat to Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V.
"We’re releasing Yandhi Saturday night," Kanye wrote on Twitter. "We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely." He added, "The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time."
Prior to Ye's announcement about his upcoming ninth studio album, the Chicago rapper revealed he is also working on his second collaborative album of the year. "Me and Chance working on a new album," he told a Chicago crowd on September 18. "It's called Good A** Job." The album title holds great significance to Ye, as it was actually supposed to be the name of his fourth studio album before the death of his mother in 2007.
