Kanye West is ready to pull a Kanye on Saturday's (September 29) season premiere of Saturday Night Live.
According to TMZ, the 41-year-old rapper, who is also preparing to release his ninth studio album, Yandhi, on Saturday, is bringing some "heavy-hitters" out to join him for his SNL performance. Some names that have been floating around are Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor and 070 Shake.
Ye has reportedly been hard at work all week putting the finishing touches on his performance with Spike Jonze, who has been aiding with the creative direction. Kanye is said to have been "relaxed" and "collaborative" throughout the whole process.
The "All Mine" rapper's Yandhi release will coincide with his SNL appearance. The guest host of the evening is Adam Driver.

As previously reported, Ye became SNL's season 44 premiere musical guest after Ariana Grande dropped out. "We had Ariana drop out for emotional reasons," the show's creator Lorne Michaels recently revealed on the "Origins With James Andrew Miller" podcast. "That's our premiere, and then Kanye stepped up, and he’ll be there. So, the reach of the show and the number of people who will step forward is now somehow now, I think, probably at its peak."
Ariana has been dealing with quite the emotional turmoil for the last few weeks, following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. On Thursday (September 28), the "sweetener" singer opened up to her fans on Twitter, revealing her current heartbreaking emotional state. “Can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls,” she first tweeted, before adding, “i’m so f**king tired pls” and “jus wake me up when i’m supposed to sing or whatever. peace.”
