Bruno Mars Gets Serenaded By Ed Sheeran On His Birthday: Watch

Bruno Mars celebrated turning 33 this Monday (October 8), and he did so by acquiring the services of Ed Sheeran, who sang “Happy Birthday” to the “Versace on the Floor” artist as he helped himself to a feast of custom-made cupcakes and a pyramid-shaped cookie cake.
The vocalist shared the moment in a video posted to Instagram, in which the English singer-songwriter changes the lyrics just for Mars' special day, crooning with his guitar, “Happy Birthday dear two-time Super Bowl performing Bruno.” Delighted, the Grammy-winning birthday boy clinks his glass and cheers, "Again!"
"You know you've made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday," Mars captioned the clip with the hysterical hashtags "#ExtraForever! #HappyBrunoMarsDay!"

Mars' birthday compliment comes just ahead of tonight's American Music Awards, where the R&B superstar is up for six awards, including Best Male R&B Male Artist, Best Tour, Best Soul/R&B Song and Best Collaboration for his smash "Finesse" with rapper Cardi B. Mars and Cardi were expected to trek together during his "24K Magic Tour" this fall, however the "Bodak Yellow" emcee withdrew from the gig to care after her newborn daughter, Kulture.
Sheeran is also nominated for several awards at the 2018 AMAs, including Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist and Artist of the Year.
