Ariana Grande's upcoming BBC Music Special will see the pop star dive deeper into her mental health and admit that her anxiety sometimes causes her to feel "guilty" given her superstar responsibilities.

As per NME, the Wednesday night (November 1) special dubbed "Ariana Grande at the BBC" hears the 25-year-old speak openly about her issues. "I almost feel guilty that I have it [anxiety] because it's just in your head and it's just so crazy how powerful it is," she told BBC host Davina McCall. "You have ups and downs and sometimes you'll go weeks at a time where you will be crushing it and there will be no anxiety…and then something will happen that can trigger it and then you have a couple of down days."

Nonetheless, Grande said that the most vital part of dealing with mental issues is leaning on a circle of friends and family to support you during the trying times. "The most important thing is to remember that…everybody has this. Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online. Reach out to each other," she continued. Part of that coping mechanism has seemingly helped her navigate through the trauma of the last few years and stay focused on her career. Just last week, the star announced that she's heading on tour in support of her recent album, Sweetener.

Grande's TV special was recorded in front of a studio audience on September 7, which was prior to the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and her split from fiancé Pete Davidson nearly five months after the two became engaged. Stay tuned for more from the one-hour special, including a glimpse of the star performing material from the new LP.
