Marina & Luis Fonsi Spice Up Clean Bandit's Sexy New Song ‘Baby’: Listen

On Friday (November 2), Clean Bandit delivered the music video for a new tantalizing groove called "Baby," featuring vocals from Luis Fonsi and Marina Diamandis, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds.

The record, co-produced by the UK electro-pop group, serves as the sixth single off their upcoming second studio album, What Is Love?

Fonsi opens the tune by serenading Marina, crooning the lyrics, "Sé que te gusto a ti todavía" (which translates to "I know that you still like me"). While Marina expresses her former flame still gives her butterflies, she fights the urge to give in to temptation as her heart belongs to someone else now. And the music video pairs well to recapture the couple's heartbreaking love story.

"Standing here in an empty room/ I saw you there and my blood ran cold/ Take me back to that long September/ Don't know how I ever let you go," Marina sings as soft 808s and acoustic strums carry the song over into its seductive Latin-inspired chorus.

In August, the London-born artist previously teased the lyrics to "Baby" on Twitter as part of an exhibition for the London Design Festival. The record will also be featured on Marina's unnamed fourth studio album, following 2015's Froot.
