Ariana Grande reached a huge milestone in her career with the help of her exes.

On Monday (November 12), the pop star's smash "thank u, next" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated November 17), making it Grande's first in her career. Billboard reports the track is the 32nd single to premiere at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and the first by a female artist in three years since Adele's "Hello" topped the chart dated November 14, 2015.

The 25-year-old took to Twitter to break the exciting news to her Arianators. "Yeeeeeee baby's first number one," she wrote before shouting out the song that made it possible with "thank u, next."

In the song, which arrived as a surprise earlier this month, Grande pays thanks to her most important ex-boyfriends including rapper Big Sean, backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, late lyricist Mac Miller, and ex-fiancĂ© and comedian Pete Davidson, whom she most recently split with in October.

Last week, Grande performed the song live for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside singer-songwriters Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx.

"thank u, next" is expected to appear on the musician's fifth studio album, unofficially planned to drop before the year is over, also called Thank U, Next. Grande previously released her fourth record, Sweetener, in August.
