Shortly after announcing her four-part YouTube documentary series titled "Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman Diaries," the pop titan released the first installment of the project and it's sure to please anyone who loves Sweetener.
During the 28-minute episode, Grande takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes experience while working on her latest album. From studio sessions with Pharrell Williams to filming the Dave Meyers-directed music videos for "the light is coming" and "God is a woman," the episode puts the 25-year-old's latest project at the forefront of things while editors add vintage filters to make it all look retro. At one point in the episode, Grande stops her video crew to announce that Madonna has cut seveal vocal takes for an audio cameo in the latter clip, where she recites Samuel L Jackson's Ezekiel 25:17 speech from Pulp Fiction.
"Today's a really stellar day," she tells cameras. "Madonna gave us seven takes — not one — but seven. I don't have words. I'm going to cry myself to sleep. Guys, life doesn't get better than this. I swear to God if something changes, honest to God knock me out."
Elsewhere in the episode, Grande hosts her Sweetener slumber party, spends time with her family and explains how she went about recreating the Last Supper for her 2018 MTV Video Music Awards performance. Scroll on below to watch the episode in full!
