Here's Video Footage From One of Linkin Park's First Shows Ever

It's hard to believe there was ever a time when Linkin Park wasn't selling out stadiums, but they had humble beginnings just like any other rock band.

A video has surfaced from one of the band's first shows ever. The alt-rockers hadn't even released their debut album Hybrid Theory yet, and they were opening for The Union Underground at a club called Mason Jar in Phoenix, Arizona — a venue with a 300 person capacity.

The show went down on August 15, 2000. Two months later, on October 24, 2000, Linkin Park would release their freshman record and their worlds would change forever. But at this moment, they were a supporting act just trying to get their name out there.

A fan recorded the whole set. The footage is a bit shaky, and not the best quality (but what did you expect in 2000?), but it's still so cool to watch the band play what would become icon songs before their music videos started surpassing a billion views on YouTube.

Watch the show footage and check out the set list below.
