Victoria's Secret Model Faces Backlash For Exercising At In-N-Out

Victoria's Secret model Kelly Gale is facing backlash after sharing a series of videos on Instagram Stories showing her exercising outside of popular burger joint In-N-Out. The videos, captured and shared by E! News, show the 23-year-old model eating a pear instead of the restaurant's food, working out on In-N-Out property, and getting vegetables delivered to her while there. After posting the videos, Gale is being accused of fat-shaming people who choose to eat at restaurants like In-N-Out. 

"We're at In-N-Out...so I guess I'm having my pear," Gale tells a friend in the first video. In the following video, Gale shows her friend eating something she bought elsewhere. "You don't eat In-N-Out?" the model asks. "Me neither."

A later video then showcases Gale's workout, which she performs right outside the restaurant. Gale can be seen doing leg lifts and a jump rope routine. "Hustle for the muscle, right?" she wrote. "Do what you gotta do, right! No excuses guys!" She then adds, "Not gonna pretend I eat here guys cos I don't."

While Gale may have been trying to make a point about healthy eating, her videos were not received well by her followers. Many took to Twitter to share their disappointment and call the model out for fat shaming. "You can eat whatever you want Ms. Gale but please don’t be so pathetic and unkind to others. Entitlement is not cute," one person wrote. 

"The only thing I got from[Kelly Gale's] video is that she likes to go to places and eat there without actually ordering their food and thinks body shaming others is cute. What a shame to use your influence this way," another shared. 

Some did come to Gale's defense, though, with one person writing, "For everyone freaking out over Kelly Gale, let me point out that only insecure people freak out over things like being told the truth. If she offends you by saying that eating fast food isn't healthy, you are the problem, not her."
