Tommie Lee is facing over five decades behind bars.
According to TMZ, the Love & Hip Hop star was recently indicted on multiple child abuse charges that carry serious jail time. The seven charges, three of which are federal, are in connection to her two October arrests. Prosecutors told the gossip site that if convicted on all seven charges, Tommie could be locked up for up to 54 years.
Back in October, Tommie, whose real name is Atasha Jefferson, was taken into custody for aggravated stalking and obstruction, hours after she was released from jail for her previous arrest earlier that day. According to the indictment filed by the state of Georgia, and obtained by TMZ, her first arrest stems from when Tommie went to her 12-year-old daughter's middle school and allegedly "disrupted the class, slapped her daughter on the hands with her purse strap, slapped her across the face, dragged her down the hall by her hair and threw her into a metal locker."
As previously reported, Tommie was charged with battery, aggravated assault, and child cruelty for the alleged crime. After posting $27,000 bond, the 34-year-old reality star was released under the condition she did not contact her daughter. However, within three hours of her release, Tommie allegedly contacted her child, which landed her back in handcuffs on Wednesday night. During her second arrest, Tommie allegedly refused to come to her front door when police arrived, WSB-TV reported at the time. Instead, police told the news station, she tried hiding in her attic.
