I Have a Uvula Problem. Is It Just Me?

You probably haven't had many conversations about your uvula.  You know the little punching bag at the back of your throat.  Well yesterday I woke up with a swollen uvula and it was really weird.  I could feel it laying on the back on my tongue.  It was even making me talk a little weird.  I don't have a cold or anything and it didn't hurt.  I wasn't about to check WebMD because it would probably signal my certain demise. 

Today I am fine but it was really weird.  Maybe I slept with my mouth open or something.  One co-worker thought maybe a spider crawled in and bit me.  That I can't even think about.  Has this ever happened to you?
