Friends Fan Discovers Awkward Secret Ross, Monica Share With Their Parents

Even though Friends has been off the air for 14 years, fans are still discovering new things about their favorite characters. For example: Ross and Monica Geller have something super awkward in common, not only with each other, but their parents, as well. So, what's this uncomfortable secret all the Gellers share? Every member of their family made sex tapes over the course of the show's ten seasons.

The fan who discovered this saucy family connection posted about the discovery on Reddit. "Beside their last name they all have made a sex tape! Jack and Judy with each other. Monica with Richard ('he taped over me?!') And almost made one with Chandler but they got interrupted by Joey," the Reddit user wrote. "And don't forget the infamous tape with Ross and Rachel. I have watched this show countless of times and it just occurred to me. Is it a Geller thing? Ross's one wasn't intentional but still I find it funny that all the Gellers have one."

Another Friends fan chimed in on the post, pointing out that Monica and Ross also share this trait with their grandma. "If I remember correctly, they find stuff that suggested their grandmother was kinky too. Definitely a Geller thing," the fan wrote.

It's hard to say if the show's writers did this on purpose or if it's just a hilarious coincidence. Who knows what other hidden gems fans will discover while binge-watching the beloved sitcom? Only time will tell! If that reunion special ever happens, though, maybe this plot detail will be addressed.
