Kylie Jenner Faces Backlash Over Kylie Skin Promo Video: 'You're A Scam'

Kylie Jenner is facing backlash for her new line of skincare products...again.
Right after launching Kylie Skin, the 21-year-old billionaire faced criticism for including a walnut face scrub in her new line. That type of ace scrub (think St. Ives Apricot Scrub) have fallen out favor with dermatologists and consumers in recent years as it's believed the walnut/apricot pieces can cause tears in the skin.
Some fans went off after Kylie recommended using the scrub as frequently as three times a week and called it her "secret to a fresh face." One fan replied to Kylie Skin's official Twitter account, saying Kylie's "secret" is actually "being a billionaire who gets consistent facial treatments by professionals, as well as cosmetic enhancements like fillers and has access to exspensive skincare products."
Well, Kylie is facing similar outrage after sharing a Snapchat video where she can be seen washing her face with the Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash. In the short video, Kylie can be seen rubbing the face wash into her skin for less than ten seconds before rinsing it off and drying off with a white towel. There are three problems with this video. The first is that Kylie barely spends any time actually using the product. The second issue is that a ton of foundation comes off on the towel when Kylie wipes her face. Lastly, Kylie is using a Snapchat filter in the video, so, it's actually hiding her skin from her followers.

Not long after sharing the video on Twitter and Instagram, fans started calling Kylie out for "lazy" promo video. Some even went so far as to call Kylie a "scammer."
kylie babby... I support your hustle but this isn’t the right way to convince me to buy your product. The towel literally wiped your makeup off https://t.co/uFL8vvGTqU

Using a filter while selling skincare 🙄

What’s off to me about Kylie Skin is the fact that she’s selling products she clearly doesn’t even use. Rich bitch goes to expensive dermas lmao. She washed her face for literally SECONDS and her foundation was all over the towel. If I did that my acne would be popping lol https://t.co/arDt7XtGOc

Lmao this is such lazy content! Sis has on a filter so you can't see her skin, washed her face for 0.5 seconds and has the audacity to have foundation on the towel and still post it!!! https://t.co/rik12rlavq

Kylie has not addressed the backlash for either of her products. She has responded to fan feedback for her makeup line Kylie Cosmetics, though, so it's possible she will make adjustments to her line in the future.
