(Undated)--The East Greenwich Police Department is announcing that the officer who was recently arrested in Pawtucket has resigned.Mark Edmonds is accused of choking his wife and threatening her with a gun.He had been on the East Greenwich force for only several months.Edmonds was arraigned on the domestic violence charges in District Court in Providence yesterday.
