GM, Michelin working on "Airless" Tires

We may soon be driving around in cars with "airless" tires. General Motors and Michelin are developing these revolutionary wheels for us in cars and trucks.

Codenamed Uptis -- an acronym for “Unique Puncture-proof Tire System” – drivers reportedly wont notice any difference in performance when the tires are expected to begin being rolled out in the next 5-years.
