Baz Luhrmann's upcoming biopic centered around the King of Rock and Roll already has some potential stars aiming for the big role.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Harry Styles, Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Austin Butler have all reportedly tested to play the part of Elvis Presley in the film. Sources close to the outlet revealed that the leading role is expected to be filled in the coming weeks. As of now, Tom Hanks is on board to play Colonel Tom Parker, the late, great icon's manager who controlled all parts of Elvis' life. The film is said to focus on Parker's relationship with the mega-star.

Unlike the other candidates, Styles has the most musical experience of them all. Still, his acting career is short and sweet with his only film role in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-nominated 2017 war drama, Dunkirk. Meanwhile, the project will mark Luhrmann’s first major film in more than five years after 2013’s Great Gatsby.
