Alex Morgan scored the game winning goal for the United States National Team in their World Cup semi-finals match against England on Tuesday (July 2). The victory will see the U.S. play in their fifth World Cup final since the tournaments inception in 1991.
Though there was much to celebrate for the U.S. squad, Morgan caught some flak for her goal celebration. After heading the ball into the back of the net, the 30-year-old soccer star mimicked drinking tea. While some people took offense to the gesture, others quickly turned the moment into a hilarious meme.
Here's the goal and celebration in case you missed the big game:

With the Fourth of July following quickly after the U.S. vs England match, American fans were feeling pretty patriotic.

It doesn't seem like Morgan is too worried about the backlash over her celebration, either. After all, she has a World Cup final to worry about. And that's the tea.
