Even Jason Momoa isn't safe from body-shamers. You read that correctly. Over the weekend, the former Game of Thrones star took to Venice, Italy with his family to spend time in the sun. Us Weekly shared a shirtless shot of the actor on their Instagram account and for one reason or another, some decided to criticize the 39-year-old for having a "dad bod." Head over to the post and you'll notice that one of the most-liked comments inquired about the lack of abs on the Aquaman star.
As the Internet always does, users went back and forth about the body-shaming and the fuss goes to show that this type of criticism isn't just an issue that women face. It's a problem for everyone. Scroll on below to see some reactions to the viral photo from Momoa's vacation.
Any time, any day, anywhere… #JasonMomoa is fine as hell, and 89.9% of us women WISH our men were built like him...at any point. #LisaBonet ain't worrying about what anyone else thinks of her man. He's perfection. pic.twitter.com/snnuHRyy9k

So apparently people are shaming Jason Momoa's Dad bod... you know the body where he looks like an above average fit man instead of a Spartan Warrior? pic.twitter.com/7s51iv3xC5

As a person with terrible body dysmorphia I appreciate Jason Momoa’s “dad bod”. It’s not like he did it intentionally, but shows that people go through weight fluctuations. Not everyone is shredded all the time, and also people are mean about all bods.
