Fabolous Sets The Record Straight About His Alleged Split From Emily B

Fabolous and Emily B have not broken up... according to Fabolous.

After TMZ reported that the two had called it quits on their 15-plus-years relationship and Fab was already "dating," the 41-year-old rapper took to Instagram to set the record straight. "I LOVE YOU EMILY ❤️ That@tmz_tvstory is fake. I never told anyone I split up from Emily. And I wasn’t on a date. That whole story is made up.#TMZ," he captioned an Instagram post that stated his love for Emily.

The Brooklyn rapper also shared a second post, calling the outlet out for sharing a photo of him and a woman during what they claimed was a date. "@TMZ posted a lunch meeting I had wit [sic] a Female Teacher & said I was on a date & added a bogus story that I cut off or split from EMILY," he wrote. "This is Deflamation [sic] of Character!!!! I'm going to reach out toot my lawyers to take action!! This is Baseless & affecting my likeness, my character & MY FAMILY."

Fabolous later took to Instagram live to further shoot down TMZ's report, saying he never called it quits on Emily and neither he or Emily spoke to the entertainment news outlet about their relationship. However, he also seemed to hint that the two are currently on break of some sort as he said he's trying to win her back. "How could I cut her off? Everybody [that knows us] knows I'm fighting back for her."

Fab also acknowledged their rough history during the IG live, saying, "Me and Emily have been through a lot. I know y'all have seen that. I haven't always been the best, but I love Emily."

As fans know, their relationship has been anything but smooth. In October 2018, the "Ooh Yea" rapper was indicted on four felony charges related to his alleged assault on Emily, stemming from an alleged domestic dispute that March.

Fab was accused of repeatedly punching Emily in the face, ultimately knocking her front teeth out. And TMZ later released a video of a disturbing altercation, that reportedly went down three weeks after Emily's alleged assault, between the couple outside their New Jersey home on March 31. In the clip, Fab can be heard threatening to kill Emily and her father while brandishing a pair of scissors.

Despite the multiple felony charges, Fabolous and Emily B patched things up and he struck a plea deal earlier this year, avoiding jail time.
