Pink just made her mark on her-story with her “Beautiful Trauma World Tour.”
According to Billboard, the pop powerhouse now has the highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist in over a decade, as her latest worldwide trek soared to the No. 10 spot on Billboard Boxscore’s list of the greatest tours of all-time on Tuesday (August 20).
Per the chart company, after wrapping her 156th show at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Monday (August 19), the “Beautiful Trauma Tour” earned a whopping $397.3 million and sold more than 3,088,647 tickets.
To put these numbers into perspective, Pink’s jaunt fell merely $11 million short of besting the record of another female pop icon: Madonna. To date, the “Vogue” superstar has long-held the crown for having the highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist with her “Sticky & Sweet Tour,” which raked a record $408 million in 2008-09.
This also makes the “Walk Me Home” star’s global jaunt the biggest tour of her career yet. As you know, she embarked on her trek in October 2017 — during which she released released her seventh album, Beautiful Trauma — with shows originally slated for North America and Australia, but later extended her jaunt with added concert dates in Europe.
Congratulations, Pink!
