Foals Prove They Have Stamina In New Song 'The Runner'

Foals may have released Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 a mere six months ago, but they're eager to give us the project's second half — and we're totally okay with that. Last month, the UK rockers shared the chaotic "Black Bull;" however, their latest offering from Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2, "The Runner," is considered the album's first official single.

Of the monstrous new song, frontman Yannis Philippakis says “It's a call to find a sense of purpose & perseverance despite the odds & despite the troubles we may find inside or outside ourselves.”

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 has been shortlisted for this year's Mercury Prize, nominated alongside artists like The 1975 and Little Simz. Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 is slated for an October 18 release via Warner Bros. Records. Listen to "The Runner" and check out the album's cover and track list below.
