Carrie Underwood's Mom Joins Her On Stage To Rap 'The Champion'

During Carrie Underwood's show in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday night (October 24), the audience got a special surprise when Carole Underwood joined her daughter on stage for a performance of "The Champion." Carole rocked the house as she belted the rap portion of the track originally sung by Ludacris.

Carrie took to Instagram following the show to share photo followed by a video of the two on stage singing together. "Got to share the stage with this amazing champion tonight! Of course, I'm talking about my mom," Carrie wrote under the photo adding, "She crushed it!"

She then shared a video showing off the epic performance captioned, "Nailed it! I kept trying to keep her on track! At the end she said 'Did I do OK?' Who knew Mom could rap?!" Carrie of course had to add the hashtag "#MyMomsCoolerThanYourMom" at the end.

Carrie's "Cry Pretty Tour 360" has actually become quite the family affair. Her 4-year-old son, Isaiah has been loving the tour life. In a recent chat with Cody Alan, Carrie said, "He loves seeing everybody. Everybody loves seeing him. He's always on his little scooter going around the arenas. Someone recently called him the 'Mayor of Catering.' He is always like, 'WHAT'S UP EVERYBODY?' all the time."

The "Cry Pretty Tour 360" runs through October 31 wrapping up in Detroit, Michigan. The "Southbound" singer is set to co-host the 2019 CMA Awards on November 13 alongside co-hosts, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. The country superstar received multiple nominations herself, including one for Entertainer of the Year. Carrie's the only female in the big category up against Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, and Keith Urban.

The 53rd Annual CMA Awards will air on November 13 on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET.
