Selena Gomez will be storming the stage at the American Music Awards!
On Friday (November 1), dick clark productions and ABC announced Gomez as one of the acts expected to perform at the annual music awards ceremony. This upcoming gig marks the singer’s first live television performance in two years, and it will also be the first time Gomez will debut her new music live. Fans can recall, the 26-year-old made her last televised appearance at the 2017 AMAs, where she delivered “Wolves" after performing at the show in 2015 and 2014.
The superstar's latest TV gig comes after Gomez made her long-awaited comeback to the music scene with not one, but two brand new singles. In late-October, the former Disney Channel star debuted the empowering ballad “Lose You to Love Me” as well as the dance bop “Look At Her Now” both within the same week.
Among this year’s most-nominated artists at the 2019 AMAs include Post Malone with seven nominations, as Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish tie with six nominations each. As previously reported, Taylor Swift is also set to hit the stage at the music celebration, where Swift will be designated the Artist of the Decade honor.
The 2019 American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 24, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on ABC at 8 PM EST.
