Lil Reese In Critical Condition After Being Shot In The Neck

Lil Reese is reportedly fighting for his life.

According to multiple outlets, the 26-year-old rapper, born Tavares Taylor, is in the hospital in critical condition after he was shot in the neck Monday afternoon (November 11) at an intersection in a Chicago suburb.

Cops told TMZ they were called to the scene, but upon their arrival they only found a car with fresh blood in the driver's seat and on the ground adjacent to the driver's door. Witnesses later told them "someone picked up a wounded man," who was then identified after officers called area hospitals.

The incident is currently under investigation as authorities look for what caused the shooting. No arrests have been reported.

Following news of Reese's hospitalization, fellow Chicago rapper Lil Durk updated fans on Reese's condition, tweeting, "Reese good 💙." However, it's possible Reese's conditioned worsened since the tweet as Reese is said to be currently in critical condition.
