Snoop Dogg's Friend & Rapper Bad Azz Dies At 43

West Coast rapper Bad Azz has died at the age of 43.
According to TMZ, the "Wrong Idea" rapper, born Jamarr Antonio Stamps, passed away on Monday (November 11) while being held in custody at a detention center in California.
Bad Azz was reportedly in jail over a domestic violence charge after being arrested on Friday (November 8). He had a court date scheduled for Tuesday (November 12).
A cause of death has yet to be revealed.
The west coast rapper was a close friend of Snoop Dogg, who confirmed his passing on Instagram Monday. "Damn π₯. R. I. P. To my young. D. P. G. L. L. G. L. B. C. Crew original @badazzlbc gone 2 soon ππΎπ€ππΎπ₯πΉ," he captioned a photo of his late friend. Bad Azz was also close to Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Warren G, Nate Dogg and others associated with Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips based out of Long Beach, TMZ reports.
He'd previously collaborated with 2pac, MC Eiht, Mistah F.A.B., Bizzy Bone, The Lady of Rage, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes and any more. The "How We Get Down" rapper released his debut solo studio album, Word on tha Streets, back in 1998 and went on to release three more solo albums. He was also featured on at least two collaborative albums.
Bad Azz's friends and previous collaborators took to social media to mourn his passing.
