Juice WRLD unexpectedly passed away on Sunday morning (December 8) after suffering a seizure at Midway International Airport in his hometown of Chicago. The emo rapper (born Jarad Anthony Higgins) was only 21 years old.
When news of his tragic death broke, fans, friends, collaborators and peers mourned the loss of the "Lucid Dreams" emcee. "Wow I can’t believe this R.I.P. @JuiceWorlddd Prayers up for his family" Juicy J tweeted.
"I can’t believe it... you were such a sweet soul," Ellie Goulding, who recently collaborated with Juice on her song "Hate Me," wrote. "I’ll always remember meeting you and your family on the video set and thinking how close you were. You had so much further to go, you were just getting started. You’ll be missed Juice."
"really shocked and sad to find out juice wrld passed away, ... and so young too...," Zedd tweeted. "a reminder that life can be over any moment... be kind to one another."
