Billie Eilish kicked off iHeartRadio’s ALTer EGO 2020 presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 18. The 18-year-old set the tone with an epic 40 minute-long set including hits like “bad guy” and “Ocean Eyes.”
The teen icon, who donned black sunglasses and an oversized Lil B shirt for the performance, opened the show with “bad guy” and "My Strange Addiction" before encouraging the crowd to jump during her electric performance of "You Should See Me in a Crown." She then told the sold-out crowd they could sit and take a breather for "idontwannabeyouanymore,” before hilariously instructing the audience to "get the f--k up" and "jump like a kangaroo" for the duration of her set.
She concluded her first-ever ALTer EGO by encouraging her fans to live gratefully and embrace every day.

Eilish’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? came out in March 2019 and catapulted her into stardom following her initial 2014 viral launch — and her 2020 is already off to a career high. Her 2020 ALTer EGO performance came on the heels of her confirmation that she’ll record the next theme song for James Bond, No Time to Die, making Eilish the youngest artist ever to sing the theme song. The songstress, who will work alongside brother Finneas per usual, will be following in the footsteps of Adele and Sam Smith, who both won an Oscar for their efforts.
“‘No Time To Die’ JAMES BOND. AND I AM SINGING THE THEME SONG. WHAAT,” the Grammy-nominated singer captioned a photo of the 007 logo on social media.
“The #NoTimeToDie title song will be performed by @billieeilish,” the franchise added on January 14. “Billie has written the song with her brother @finneas and is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song."
