Science Proves Robert Pattinson Is The Most Handsome Man In The World

Scientifically speaking, Robert Pattinson is hotter than Henry Cavill, Bradley Cooper, and Idris Elba.

The Twilight alum is the most handsome man in the world, based on the 92.15 per cent score he received in accordance to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. Originated in ancient Greece, the system supposedly assesses physical perfection by measuring a person’s eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape.

In the latest list compiled by cosmetic Dr. Julian De Silva using computerized mapping techniques to measure Pattinson’s closeness to physical perfection against his fellow heartthrobs, Silva concluded: “Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection. He was in the top five for nearly all the categories because he has such classically shaped features and a wonderful chiseled jaw. His only score below average was for his lips which are a little thin and flat.”

Ironically, falling second to the Batman actor was Superman hunk Cavill, who scored 91.64 per cent due to his “eye spacing,” despite having notably high scores for his lips, forehead, and nose. The Star Is Born director came in third at 91.08 per cent, scoring highly for the positions of his eyes, lips and chin but marked down for “the shapes of his nose and face.”

Rounding out the top 10 list are: Brad Pitt placing fourth with 90.51 per cent, marked down for his nose; George Clooney in fifth with 89.91 per cent, scoring poorly for the “loss of volume in his face”; Hugh Jackman in sixth with 89.64 per cent, having the highest nose shape score; David Beckham in seventh with 88.96 per cent with an exceptionally high nose, lip and chin scores; and Elba eighth with 88.01 percent, noted well for his chin and forehead; Kanye West in ninth with 87.94 per cent, marked down for his face shape; and lastly, Ryan Gosling at 87.48 per cent with “the most perfectly shaped nose of all the men,” but suffered for his lips.
