The 1975 Drops 2000s Rom-Com Inspired 'Me & You Together Song' Video

On Thursday (February 6), The 1975 unveiled its music video for the band's latest single, “Me & You Together Song,” and it's an early 2000s masterpiece.
The new video features couples of all orientations at a house party with intertwining storylines that express the giddiness and euphoria of love and lust.
The three main couples in the video have relatable AF scenes like meeting at a party, sneakily making out in your bedroom, and falling in love with your neighbor. As for the band, the guys are dressed head-to-toe in iconic 2000s fashion.
If the video gives you major rom-com vibes it's probably because lead singer Matty Healy originally wrote the track for a movie.
The 1975 debuted the uplifting song in mid-January and it's a complete 180 from the band's previously-released (and super-heavy) song, “People.” “This is straight up vibing sort of happiness,” Healy said about the track. The 1975 also live-debuted the song in New Zealand last week.
The 1975's North American tour will kick off on April 27 in Houston, TX and wrap up on June 11 Duluth, GA. Phoebe Bridgers and beabadoobee will join the band on tour.
The band's upcoming album, Notes on a Conditional Form, was originally slated to be released on February 21 and has now been moved back to April 24.
