Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron's mother, Andrea, has unexpectedly passed away after a "family emergency."

According to Us Weekly, who confirmed the tragic news over the weekend, Andrea died after being taken to the hospital on Thursday (February 27). Hours prior to his mother’s sudden passing, Cameron took to social media to inform fans of a “family emergency” that would force him to pull out of his Good Morning America appearance scheduled for the following day. “Have to cancel GMA group run tomorrow. Family emergency. Please pray for my mom and my family,” the reality star tweeted at the time.

"Tyler is utterly devastated and in shock," a source told the outlet. "It doesn’t feel real. His entire family is strong as hell but their world has been shattered."

Given the close bond Andrea shared with her three sons, the loss has been particularly hard on Tyler and brothers Ryan and Austin. “God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Pray for my momma,” Ryan, a student athlete at Florida Atlantic University, shared in an Instagram Story before Andrea’s death, as Austin followed suit, imploring fans to send prayers as well.

Andrea, who is survived by her husband Jeff and their three sons, worked in real estate in Florida.

As pictured on Tyler’s Instagram page, Andrea was waiting for her eldest son at the finish line after he completed the New York City Marathon last November. “So grateful for all of the support that I got from my family, friends, and BN!” he wrote at the time. “Couldn’t have done this race with out all of y’all. So thankful for all of the support.”
