Hot Country Knights Announce Debut Album, 'The K Is Silent'

Hot Country Knights have unveiled details of their debut album, The K Is Silent. The band, fronted by Dierks Bentley as Doug Douglason, will release their new album on May 1.
"We were out on the road singing a lot of other people's hits, and we called them Greatest Hits because by us singing them, it actually made them great,” Douglason said in a statement. “But this is a step beyond our Greatest Hits. This is all original material, and it’s the best stuff to come out of Nashville from a man band in several decades.”
The new album will feature 10 songs including two collaborations with '90s country icons including Travis Tritt and Terri Clark. The group's current single, "Pick Her Up" features Tritt while Clark appears on a song called "You Make It Hard." The full track listing of The K Is Silent can be seen below.
This summer, the Hot Country Knights will hit the road for their 2020 "One Knight Stand Tour." The trek will kick off on April 7 in San Diego, California at the House of Blues. They'll make stops in a total of twelve cities, concluding with a show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on April 29.
Joining the Knights for the tour will be supporting acts Hannah Dasher, Tenille Townes, Rachel Wammack and Lainey Wilson on select dates. A full list of cities and dates can be seen here. Tickets to the tour are on sale now.
