The WUNNA era has begun.
On Friday (March 6), Gunna dropped "Sky Box," the first single off his upcoming sophomore album, WUNNA. The track marks Gunna's first solo project release since his 2019 album, Drip or Drown 2.
On the Turbo-produced single, he raps: "Gettin' high in the skybox, I can't see, yeah (See, yeah)/ Hot spot and it's bust down, LSD, yeah (Yeah)/ Smooth drive, hm, Gucci socks, yeah, I'm drippin' (Drippin')/ F**k the cops, we can't be stopped, just admit it."
"Sky Box" was released along with its corresponding music video. The partially animated visual begins with a stop motion animation of Gunna before transitioning to the real-life rapper aboard a hot air balloon. After a crash landing in a foreign land, Gunna finds himself partying with a ton of locals before ultimately taking off in his fixed hot air balloon.
Earlier this week, Gunna shared a cryptic 55-second teaser for WUNNA. In the video, which was directed by Spike Jordan, Gunna is shown walking around a mansion in Montego Bay, Jamaica, while surrounded by a few scantily clad women.
