Lauren Alaina Releases 'Getting Good' EP

Lauren Alaina has released her new EP, Getting Good Friday (March 6).

The EP includes a total of six tracks including the title track "Getting Good," "Ladies In The 90s" and a special song she wrote for her stepfather who died following a battle with Stage IV cancer called "The Other Side." Alaina additionally shared "In My Veins," "Somebody Else's Problem" and "Country In Me."

"I can’t believe we have finally put out new music. I’m so excited to share where I’ve been the last few years," Alaina shared on Instagram. "These six songs are my heart! This music shows the ups and downs. These songs are my heartbreaks, my inspiration, new love and loss. I hope you love them."

Alaina wrapped up her first headlining "That Girl Was Me Tour" last month. "I never thought I’d love being called a sellout, but here I am. Thank you to all the fans for selling out my first ever headlining tour. Here are some of my favorite moments. I’m not crying. You’re crying," Alaina shared at the end of the tour.

Now, Alaina is out on the road for Blake Shelton's "Friends And Heroes Tour." The trek kicked off on February 13 in Portland, Oregon and will continue through March 21 in Detroit, Michigan. The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson and Trace Adkins are also a part of the tour.
