Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Lennon Love on February 12. Since then, the country star has kept fans updated through several posts on social media.
His latest post about his daughter was a video shared on Friday (March 13). In the clip, Rhett explains that over the last few days Lennon is "really waking up to the world." He continues on to explain that when he rocks her, "the bounce" no longer does the trick so he's now started singing.
"I made up this little song for her and it goes a little something like this..." Rhett says before strumming his guitar and singing the sweet tune.
"Lennon Love my baby girl / Don't you know that you could change the world / With your sweet little smile and your gentle soul / never let your flame grow cold," Rhett sings.
He adds at the end, "Works every time!" Watch the full video shared below.
After spending some time at home with his family, Rhett will head out on his "Center Point Road Tour" kicking off May 29 in Gilford, New Hampshire. The tour is in support of his latest album, Center Point Road, which was released in May of 2019. The project featured Rhett's hit songs, "Look What God Gave Her," and his current single "Remember You Young."
Joining him on the trek will be Cole Swindell and Hardy. See a full list of cities and dates included on the tour here. Tickets to the "Center Point Road" tour are available now.
