It's easy to feel overwhelmed and alone during these unprecedented times, but as we practice social distancing and self-quarantining in attempts to stop the spread of the coronavirus, artists have been sending fans messages of positivity and love. On Sunday (March 15), Florence Welch shared an Instagram post inviting fans to help her write a "collective poem."

"As we practice social distancing, I thought we could come together in a different way..." the Florence + The Machine singer wrote. "Please write one line you would like to add to a ‘Collective Poem’ and I will try and piece it together....If you are feeling afraid, anxious or isolated I send you so much love. I am feeling the same. But creativity is a small blessing 🖤 🕸"

Lady Gaga also sent fans an uplifting message via Instagram today, encouraging them to self-quarantine. Earlier this week, Lizzo led a 30-minute meditation to help alleviate stress, and Mariah Carey demonstrated safe hygiene with a "Fantasy" handwashing tutorial.
