As the release date of The Killers' sixth studio album Implode the Mirage looms closer, the band is sharing another track from the upcoming project — and this one sounds special. On Tuesday (April 21), the band shared that they were dropping a song called "Fire in Bone" on Friday (April 24), and it just happens to be one of their favorites on the new album.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! We wanted to share one of our favorite album tracks with you, so Fire In Bone will be out this Friday!" they wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the single artwork.

Implode the Mirage is slated for a May 29 release. See the single announcement below.

"Fire In Bone" follows the album's lead single, "Caution," which was released last month. Imploding The Mirage features collaborators like including Lindsey Buckingham, kd lang, Weyes Blood, Adam Granduciel (War On Drugs), Blake Mills and Lucius. The album was produced by the band, along with Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado of Foxygen, and is the band's first record since leaving their hometown of Las Vegas.

Brandon Flowers also recently encouraged fans to wash their hands for 20 seconds in a second clip featuring him lathering up while singing "Mr Brightside."
