Gerard Way is keeping the new music coming in quarantine. After surprise-releasing four new solo songs earlier this month (one of which was written for a post-MCR band that never materialized), the My Chemical Romance frontman has shared two more unreleased demos: "PS Earth" and "Crate Amp_01." Way announced the news on Instagram, giving in-depth descriptions of each track.
"This one was recorded at the tail end of the Hesitant Alien demo sessions, just Doug and I," he explained about "PS Earth." "I liked it well enough at the time, felt kind of 90’s, didn’t end up putting any vocals on it though. I like the bridge a lot. Looking back at the whole thing, I like it, but not sure if I’m going to finish it. Guitar, bass by me. Programmed drums by Doug."
"Crate Amp_01" is another jam session recorded in the studio, following the one he shared in his last batch of songs. "I wasn’t sure when Doug was in record-mode, because I was in the live room with the amp, so I just started playing," he wrote in the track's lengthy description. "I feel like doing more of these Crate amp jams. I think we can get it to sound even more messed up."
