Right before Disneyland in California was forced to shutdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the park introduced a brand new parade called 'Magic Happens.' Unfortunately, the new parade was only able to run for two weeks before the park closed its doors. As a way to bring a little magic to guests unable to see the parade in real life, Disney is now streaming Magic Happens on the Disney Parks YouTube channel. Watching the parade virtually will make you feel like you're on a Disney vacation from your couch.
"We’re all looking for ways to bring a little joy, a little fun and, yes, a little magic into our lives right now. So to help make that happen, we’re bringing you the newest Disneyland Park parade, Magic Happens," the video's description reads. "Don’t worry though, you won’t need to move the furniture, rope off a parade route or stake out your favorite spot, because this is a virtual viewing direct from The Happiest Place on Earth. So sit back, relax and watch from the comfort of your couch as some of the most awe-inspiring moments from classic Disney stories unfold before your eyes and ears—all set to an unforgettable score co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall."
According to Disney Parks Blog, the parade features nine newly designed floats, which feature beloved characters and scenes from movies such The Sword in the Stone, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Frozen, Moana, The Princess and the Frog and more.
Your little ones may not be able to meet their favorite Disney characters in the parks for the time being, but streaming the Magic Happens parade will bring them pretty darn close while we wait for the parks to open up again.
