Dua Lipa Excited To Become An 'Auntie' To Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik's Baby

Dua Lipa is so excited about Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's future child.

Ever since Gigi confirmed she’s expecting her first child with the "Pillowtalk" crooner, everyone in their inner circle has been reacting to the baby news. The “Break My Heart” singer, who has been dating Gigi’s brother Anwar for a little under a year, was among the insiders to congratulate the model on her pregnancy.

While being interviewed in New Zealand, the star was asked how she felt about becoming an “auntie” to the couple’s future child. “It’s very exciting news,” Lipa responded. “We’re very, very excited.” Lipa also added that she only learned about Gigi’s pregnancy “not long” after TMZ broke the news earlier this week.

The “New Rules” singer isn’t the only star who’s excited for the runway star’s journey to motherhood. Shortly after the news broke, Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, told the press she was also “excited to become Oma in September,” alluding to the alleged due date to her grandchild.

It wasn’t until Thursday (April 30) that Gigi would confirm the news herself during a video interview with Jimmy Fallon. ”Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support,” the 25-year-old expressed. "Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press.”

Word of Gigi and Zayn's pregnancy began to spread days after the model celebrated her 25th birthday with family and friends last weekend. Prior to the official announcement, it had also been speculated that the couple held a gender reveal celebration during the bash as well. As TMZ reported, Gigi, who is 20 weeks along, is reportedly expecting to give birth to a baby girl.
