Riverdale's Camila Mendes Recreated Beyoncé's Iconic Pregnancy Shoot Photo

Many people are learning new hobbies while in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic, and it looks like Camila Mendes' new talent is recreating iconic celebrity photos with common household objects — and she nailed it. Mendes recreated Beyoncé's iconic pregnancy shoot photo from when she revealed she was expecting her twins, Sir and Rumi.

If you need a little refresh, back in 2017, Queen Bey shared a gorgeous picture of herself, holding her bare growing baby bump, situated in front of a floral structure, wearing nothing but her ~intimates~ and covered in a see-through veil. It is legendary to this day and an absolute work of art.

For Camila's version of the photo, she uses common household objects, and is posed in the same way in front of a bouquet of flowers (florals, check), wearing a nude bodysuit (minimal clothing, check), holding a faux baby bump (she's not actually pregnant), and opted for a plastic covering as a veil (veil, check). Camila captioned the photo, "i had to... #dangerouslies."

In Dangerous Lies, Mendes plays Katie, who inherits the estate of a wealthy elderly man who passes away — Katie was his new caregiver. And according to a description on IMDB, "she's drawn into a web of deception and murder. If she's going to survive, she'll have to question everyone's motives - even the people she loves."

Camila recently told The Hollywood Reporter of the new film, "It's just that perfect amount of darkness, but it's still light and satisfying."
