Rapper Nick Blixky Dead At 21

Nick Blixky has died at the age of 21.
According to People, the Brooklyn rapper passed away after a fatal shooting in New York City on Sunday (May 10).
The New York City Police Department reportedly responded to a call around 9:30 p.m. "of a male shot." Once on the scene, authorities found Nick's body on Winthrop Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn with gunshot wounds to his torso and buttocks.
The up-and-coming rapper — born Nickalus Thompson — was then rushed to N.Y.C. Health & Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead, police said via People.
Hours before his passing, Nick shared the released date for his new music on Instagram, captioning the cover art for his upcoming mixtape, "JUNE 3RD 🤯‼️ I’m dropping my first Tape ever' LOCK IN THE DATE 🗣... 'DIFFERENT TIMIN 🌀.'"
He additionally wished his followers a "Happy Mother's Day" on his Instagram Story.
The "Drive The Boat" rapper's brother, Nasir Fisher, confirmed his passing on Facebook, writing, "rest in peace to my brother nick blixk 💔😢🌀🔱watch over me brody."
The investigation into Nick's death is ongoing, People reports.
