X Ambassadors have been keeping busy in quarantine and are gearing up to release a new song.
Late last month, the band let fans know that they were busy creating new music while in quarantine and now we'll get to hear some new stuff this week.
Last week, the band started posting photos of grandson, K.Flay, and X Ambassadors' lead singer, Sam Harris. Each photo featured the artist with cucumber slices over their eyes and the word “ZEN” repeated behind them.
On Tuesday (May 12), fans got a little more info about the song. The band uploaded a short clip of a woman at a spa getting a massage with a number to call or text: (917) 905-3776.
Once you call the number, a woman with a very calming voice asks a few questions: “Are you alone? Do you feel anxious? Overwhelmed? Hungry? Horny? Happy? Trouble sleeping? Are you employed? Are you stressed? Are you satisfied? Do you need some f***ing zen?”
She then prompted callers to text the same number which you can then enter to win a private Zoom call with X Ambassadors, Grandson, and K.Flay or relaxing package from Alo yoga.
For fans who stayed on the entire time, you can hear a sneak peek of the song at the very end of the call. While it's just a few seconds, the upbeat song has the very relatable lyrics: “Gimme f***ing zen/ Someone gimme f***ing zen.”
If you wanna hear even more of the song, you can check out the below video chat they all did where Harris previews another snippet around the six-minute mark.
Fans can hear the whole song when it's released this Friday (May 15)!
