Salt River Tubing To Re-Open On May 16th With Some Changes

Salt River Tubing will re-open to tubers on Saturday, May 16th with some new safety measures in place.

  • Salt River Tubing 's Safety Protocols also include the following:
  • SRTR will require its Employees to wear Face Coverings as well as gloves.
  • Daily temperature checks will be administered.
  • Shuttle Bus Transport – SRTR’s 72-passenger buses will be downsized to transport fifteen (15) passengers per bus.
  • Shuttle buses will be disinfected nightly (every 24-hours) with disinfectant solutions.
  • SRTR has implemented a plan to permit safe distancing between guests awaiting the tube rental transaction process.
  • Family/Friend Groups: Family and/or Friends that have traveled together in vehicles to SRTR may choose NOT to socially distance themselves since they chose to travel together with said precautions.
  • SRTR Safety Protocol signage will be posted at the SRTR Terminal Building and Bus Stops #1, #2, and #4.

According to a recent ABC 15 article, the tubes will be used once a day and then are stored in one of their building. She said the storage building does not have air condition and typically reached temperatures over 100 degrees.

The river will be open from 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. with the last tube rental at 1 p.m., depending on weather and the river's conditions, according to Salt River Tubing's website.

The cost of rentals will be from $17 - $19
