Fans Troll People Who Just Realized Rage Against The Machine Is Political

It's hard to believe anyone would think Rage Against The Machine wasn't political — just look at the name — but since guitarist Tom Morello has been vocal about the Black Lives Matter movement, it caused some "fans" to criticize the band's "political BS."
“I use to be a fan until your political opinions come out," a Twitter user named Scott wrote in a since deleted tweet. "Music is my sanctuary and the last thing I want to hear is political bs when i’m listening to music. As far as i’m concerned you and Pink are completely done. Keep running your mouth and ruining your fan base.”
Unsurprisingly, Morello had an epic response. “Scott!! What music of mine were you a fan of that DIDN’T contain 'political BS'?" he replied. "I need to know so I can delete it from the catalog.”
This opened the floodgates for RATM fans to troll Scott, and anyone else complaining about the band's music being too political.
"The people angrily denouncing Rage Against the Machine for Tom Morello's leftist politics is one of the more hilarious things I have ever seen on the internet," one fan tweeted. "WHAT MACHINE DID YOU THINK THEY HAVE BEEN RAGING AGAINST FOR DECADES? THE ICE CREAM MACHINE? THE ATM? LAWNMOWERS?"
"Congrats to everyone who just found out Rage Against the Machine is a political band," writer Troy Johnson tweeted. "Next you should check out my favorite puppy calendar, Animal Farm."

He is right. RATM is not about what u think. Here's the actual meaning of songs:

I wish Rage Against The Machine would stop being political and go back to writing songs about bulls at a parade

To dude who used to be a fan of Rage Against the Machine until Tom Morello allowed his political opinions to come out, I feel you. I was gutted when I saw a tweet from Cookie Monster saying he liked cookies. I'm all "Keep it to yourself, my furry friend. I thought I knew you." pic.twitter.com/KFdFiedZDA
