URI Reportedly Closing Alton Jones Campus

(West Greenwich, RI)--The University of Rhode Island is closing its Alton Jones campus in West Greenwich because of financial struggles, according to a report from WPRI-TV.The campus includes the Whispering Pines Conference Center and the Environmental Education Center and is a popular spot for conferences, retreats, summer camps and other activities, according to the university.URI is now working to determine how to use the land going forward
