Maren Morris is back with more new music for fans! On Friday (June 12), the country star released two songs, "Just For Now" and "Takes Two," which now appear as additional tracks to her 2019 Girl album on streaming services.
"Just For Now" was written by Morris alongside her husband, Ryan Hurd and late producer Busbee, during sessions for her debut album Hero. The song find Morris singing about living in the moment of a relationship and not rushing anything.
"You don’t have to be the answer to a question that’s gonna change my life," she sings. "Don't need a savior, I'm just sayin' I don't wanna say goodnight"

"Takes Two" comes from the original recording sessions for Morris' latest album, Girl. It was written by Morris alongside Sarah Aarons and Greg Kurstin, who were the same songwriters that penned the album's hit title track, "Girl."
The song, which offers more of an R&B vibe, finds Morris singing of an irresistible attraction. "Takes two / It takes two to love like this / to love like this," Morris sings. "Yeah, it takes two / And now you and I can't quit / And I can't quit."
