Like so many other events, Riot Fest has been forced to forgo its 2020 dates due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, the Chicago festival is already getting fans excited for next year.
On Tuesday (June 16), Riot Fest announced its first wave of artists, and the lineup is pretty impressive. My Chemical Romance, Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, and Pixies are all set to headline. There are still two waves left to go, which will include additional headliners, and anyone who already purchased a ticket or does so in the next 30 days will also have access to a Thursday Preview Party on September 16 that will feature performances from surprise artists.
Riot Fest is set to go down September 17-19, 2021 at Chicago's Douglas Park. See the announcement and full list of first wave artists below.
