Ariana Grande Looks So Dreamy In 'Midsommar'-Themed Birthday Party Photos

Ariana Grande transformed into the May Queen for her birthday.

The singer-songwriter turned 27 years old this Friday (June 26), and she honored the occasion in a special way by throwing herself a Midsommar-themed birthday party. In photos shared to Instagram the following day, the “7 Rings” musician literally looked as delicate as a flower with a celebration inspired by Ari Aster’s 2019 horror film.

“My friends and i went with a midsommar theme because help me,” Grande captioned a set of images of her enjoying her floral-filled party, which involved tons of flower displays, centerpieces, and even a replica of the May Queen crown as seen in the scary film.

One gallery shows pictures of the “Thank U, Next” star striking several poses while basking in soft sunlight with her hair let down and her flower crown on full display. Others images show Grande's face superimposed over Midsommar star Florence Pugh’s in a screenshot from the film. Even Pugh, the leading lady of the blockbuster film, was impressed by the birthday girl’s Midsommar bash. “Mayqueeen!! Now have some mushroom tea,” Pugh praised Grande on her Instagram Stories.

Additionally, many of the superstar’s closest friends and family members also attended the event, including her mother Joan and brother Frankie, longtime collaborator Victoria Monet, and her newly-confirmed boyfriend Dalton Gomez, who sneaks his girlfriend an adorable kiss on her cheek.
