Netflix Reveals 'Kissing Booth 3' Has Already Been Filmed

The highly anticipated sequel to Netflix's popular high school rom-com The Kissing Booth premiered on the streaming service on Friday (July 24). Just days after fans were able to catch up with Elle, Lee and Noah in the Kissing Booth 2, Netflix announced they've already filmed a third installment for the series.

Netflix made the announcement in a cute video on Twitter featuring stars Joey King, Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi. In addition to the core three, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Meganne Young are all set to reprise their roles in the third film.

As if getting the news that a third Kissing Booth film will drop in 2021, Netflix also shared a teaser for the movie, as well. The scene shows Elle, Lee and Noah enjoying a swim when Elle gets a call from the Harvard admissions office, which she ignores.

Since the second and third Kissing Booth movies were filmed simultaneously, the upcoming addition into the com-com franchise is already in postproduction. King called filming both movies "the hardest secret to keep ever."

While the exciting news is out, Netflix has not yet confirmed an exact release date for the Kissing Booth 3. Luckily for fans, they now have two movies they can watch on repeat until the next one drops.
